NOVELTY - Preparation of ethyl benzoylacetate, involves adding carbon tetrachloride and sodium bicarbonate to reaction kettle, stirring, adding ethyl acetoacetate, stirring at 15-25 degrees C under stirring speed of 150-200 rpm for 10-15 minutes, adding benzoyl chloride, reacting at 50-60 degrees C for 3-5 hours, adding sodium hydroxide to reaction kettle, stirring at 100-120 degrees C under stirring speed of 200-300 rpm for 10-15 hours, lowering the temperature to 25-30 degrees C, filtering with microporous membrane, and distilling the filtrate. The microporous membrane is prepared by mixing polypropylene, kerosene, and reinforcing fillers, blending, extruding at 40-60 degrees C, calendaring at roller temperature of 190-200 degrees C and roller linear speed of 25 m/minute with upper and lower roller speed difference of 5 m/minute to obtain membrane with thickness of 0.8 mm and drying. USE - Preparation of ethyl benzoylacetate. ADVANTAGE - The preparation method uses microporous membrane with excellent long-term corrosion resistance to filter the reaction mixture.
