NOVELTY - DNA-supported graphene nanosheets comprise nucleobase of DNA and graphene nanosheet through hydrophobic interaction or pi-pi stacking, where the sugar-phosphate backbone of DNA is exposed to surface of graphene nanosheet when dispersed in aqueous solution. USE - The DNA-supported graphene nanosheets are used in composition for treating cancer caused by HCT116 cells, preferably colon cancer and in metal nanoparticles or metal oxide nanoparticles absorber (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The DNA-supported graphene nanosheets are prepared simply. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for producing the DNA-supported graphene nanosheets, which involves subjecting the solution comprising double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) and graphite to ultrasonic treatment, centrifuging, recovering supernatant, centrifuging, and recovering supernatant.
