NOVELTY - Preparing chlorotoxin conjugated graphene oxide nanomaterial involves mixing 5 g graphite and 100 ml mixed solution of sulfuric acid and perchloric acid in ice bath, heating at 100-120 degrees C, removing acid, diluting, adding alkali solution to precipitate to obtain the graphene oxide; mixing 150 g graphene oxide and 20 ml phosphate buffer solution, adding 4 ml N-hydroxyl succinimide and 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride, adjusting pH, adding 15 mg chlorotoxin and reacting to obtain chlorotoxin conjugated graphene oxide nanomaterial. USE - For preparing chlorotoxin conjugated graphene oxide nanomaterial useful for delivering anti-tumor drug for glioma (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares nanomaterial that selectively delivers anti-cancer drug to tumor part, and reduces the side effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing chlorotoxin conjugated graphene oxide nanomaterial involves mixing 5 g graphite and 100 ml mixed solution of sulfuric acid and perchloric acid in ice bath, and then continuously stirring the temperature in water bath, heating at 100-120 degrees C, removing acid, diluting to 800-1000 ml after centrifuging, adding alkali solution to precipitate at 70-90 degrees C, filtering, washing to neutral, vacuum drying at 40 degrees C, freezing and drying to obtain the graphene oxide, where volume ratio of sulfuric acid and perchloric acid is 3:1; mixing 150 g graphene oxide and 20 ml phosphate buffer solution, adding 4 ml N-hydroxyl succinimide and 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride at room temperature for the activation reaction, adjusting pH value to 7-8, adding 15 mg chlorotoxin and reacting, centrifuging, washing, vacuum freezing and drying to obtain chlorotoxin conjugated graphene oxide nanomaterial.
