NOVELTY - Lithium-ion battery comprises anode, cathode, lithium-ion permeable and electrically insulating separator (15), where electrically separates anode from cathode, where anode has (i) multiple particles of anode active material (20); (ii) 0.1-25 wt.% of first lithium ion-transporting medium; (iii) 5-80 wt.% of pores in anode; (iv) combining first lithium ion-transporting medium and particles of anode active material to form anode active material composite layer; (v) occupying 75-99.9 wt.% of anode active material; and (vi) including first lithium ion-transporting medium has ion-conducting or electron-conducting material of graphite, graphene, carbon, sulfonated conducting polymer, phthalocyanine compound, organic or organometallic cathode or anode active material. USE - Lithium-ion battery used for electrical vehicles, hybrid electric vehicle, and portable electronic devices, such as laptop computers and mobile phones. ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion battery leads to reduce interfacial resistance, decreases lithium-ion conductivity and working voltages due to the addition of the organic polymer, has low ionic conductivity and low processability owing to their mechanical rigidity and brittleness, can develop solid electrolytes with superior electrochemical properties is highly desirable, reduce or totally eliminate binder resin, conductive additive, and electrolyte in anode for purpose of maximizing anode active material and energy density of the battery, adjusts for optimizes shell thickness, has resonance with rayleigh instability, and leads to very uniform droplets.
