▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Graphene masterbatch comprises 1-20 wt.% base resin; 20-40 wt.% electrically conductive carbon black; 20-50 wt.% graphene nanoplatelets; and 1-15 wt.% dispersant. Each of the graphene nanoplatelets has a modified surface layer. The modified surface layer is formed by covering a surface of graphene nanoplatelet with a surface modifying compound comprising a coupling agent. The graphene nanoplatelet has an oxygen content of 3-20 wt.%. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups are used to chemically react with electrically conductive carbon black and base resin to form chemical bond. USE - The graphene masterbatch is useful for forming composite material used in automobile, aerospace vehicle, information, and medicine. ADVANTAGE - Since the modified surface makes graphene nanoplatelets evenly dispersed in the base resin, the graphene masterbatch is suitably melt blended with a polymer material to form a composite material such that graphene nanoplatelets are evenly dispersed in the polymer material, thus enhancing junction strength, increasing mechanical properties, and improving anti-oxidation, acid/base resistance, and thermal conductivity. More specifically, the graphene masterbatch comprising surface-modified graphene nanoplatelets has improved compatibility with carbon black and polymer material, thus can achieve homogeneous mixing and greatly enhance the cohesive strength of the junction. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene masterbatch comprises 1-20 wt.% base resin; 20-40 wt.% electrically conductive carbon black; 20-50 wt.% graphene nanoplatelets; and 1-15 wt.% dispersant. Each of the graphene nanoplatelets has a modified surface layer. The modified surface layer is formed by covering a surface of the graphene nanoplatelet with a surface modifying compound comprising a coupling agent. The coupling agent is specified by a chemical formula Mx(R)y(R')z. The graphene nanoplatelet has an oxygen content of 3-20 wt.%. Hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups are used to chemically react with the electrically conductive carbon black and the base resin to form chemical bond. M=a metal element; R=a hydrophilic functional group; R'=a hydrophobic functional group; x=0-6; and y and z=1-20.
