▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The method involves feeding a carbon source into a reaction chamber (4). A catalytic substrate (8) arranged on a surface of a drum is passed through the reaction chamber by rotating the drum around a central axis of the drum. The substrate in the reaction chamber is heated to a graphene production temperature to produce graphene on the substrate from the carbon source. The graphene is released from the substrate outside the reaction chamber. The substrate outside the reaction chamber is cooled. USE - Method for producing graphene for production of high modulus, high tensile strength graphene-based carbon fibers and large area graphene sheets. ADVANTAGE - The for producing graphene is adapted for use of different precursors, and adapted for use of multiple precursor sources at a given time to maximize flexibility in precursor sourcing and cost profile. The substrate is dissolved in order to remove the graphene from the substrate. The stretching, creep, and breakage of the substrate wire, ribbon, or foil are the most typical circumstances requiring replacement of the substrate. The flow of the hydrocarbyl feedstock gas through the pipes of heat exchanger is adjusted to maximize the amount of heat removed from the stationary core. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The reaction chamber encloses a portion of the drum within the reaction chamber to expose the substrate on that portion to the carbon source, and the heat source is arranged to heat the substrate in the reaction chamber. The heat source is arranged inside and outside the drum. A cooling apparatus cools the substrate on a side of the drum that is rotated outside the reaction chamber. A hol1ow cylinder (38) rotates around a stationary core (40). The heat source is arranged inside the stationary core. The cooling apparatus is arranged inside the stationary core and cools the substrate on a side of the drum that is rotated outside the reaction chamber. A laser (12) is arranged outside the reaction chamber and removes the graphene from the substrate. The substrate is a wire winding around the surface of the drum. The substrate is a foil applied to the surface of the drum. The drum comprises an inner metallic core and an outer ceramic layer on which the substrate is arranged. The drum rotates around an axle arranged along the central axis of the drum and supported by a bearing. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for an apparatus for producing graphene. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the apparatus for producing graphene.
