NOVELTY - Preparing functionalized graphene nano-sheet reinforced silicone rubber composite material comprises (i) forming nitrogen heterocyclic structure on the surface of the graphene nano sheet by 1,3-dipole ring addition reaction, where the nitrogen heterocyclic structure has a carboxy group-containing end, (ii) bonding (3-Aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTMS) on the graphene nano sheet through introduced carboxy to obtain functionalized graphene nano sheet, and (iii) mixing the functionalized graphene nano-sheet in the silicone rubber to obtain functionalized graphene nano-sheet reinforced silicone rubber composite material. USE - The method is useful for preparing functionalized graphene nano-sheet reinforced silicone rubber composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent mechanical performance and thermal performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for functionalized graphene nano-sheet reinforced silicone rubber composite material, prepared by above method.
