NOVELTY - Preparing carbon quantum dot and high crystalline polyheptazine imide compound comprises mixing the melon-structured graphitic carbon nitride prepared by the thermal polycondensation of the nitrogen-rich precursor and the metal salt, adding the carbon quantum dots aqueous solution, stirring and heating the solution, evaporating to dryness, calcining the collected samples in a nitrogen protective atmosphere, washing and drying to remove metal salts and obtaining carbon quantum dots and highly crystalline polyheptazine imide compound. USE - The compound is useful in field of photo-catalytic material. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes a one-step metal salt process to simultaneously achieve in-situ transformation of graphitic carbon nitride crystal structure and efficient construction of non-metallic carbon quantum dots and highly crystalline polyheptazineimide (PHI) complexes, which solves the problems of unsatisfactory photocatalytic effect and complicated process, weak light absorption, low specific surface area, and low photo-generated carrier separation efficiency of the current ordinary carbon nitride and is simple, easy to operate and economical.
