▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Reduction method of a heterogeneous metal hydrogenation catalyst, involves charging a catalyst precursor supported on a carrier with a heterogeneous metal compound into a reactor, and simultaneously reducing the heterogeneous metal compound included in the catalyst precursor by increasing the temperature of the reactor and supplying a reducing gas. USE - The method is used for reduction of a heterogeneous metal hydrogenation catalyst for preparing cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM) (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - When the hydrogenation catalyst is reduced using a specific reducing gas in a proper reducing condition, the hydrogenation reaction of the catalyst is improved. The method can efficiently convert a dicarboxylic acid group into a dialcohol group. The method is possible to control segregation, sintering, and leaching out of active metals that may occur in the process of reducing heterogeneous metal compounds into metals. The method is possible to obtain a heterogeneous metal hydrogenation catalyst supported with an active metal in an even alloy state. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), involving performign the hydrogenation reaction of cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid (CHDA) using the activated heterometal hydrogenation catalyst.
