NOVELTY - Preparing composite material involves dispersing uniformly graphene oxide in the water solvent, adjusting the pH to 8-8.5, adding dopamine hydrochloride, stirring the reaction at room temperature for 3-24 hours to obtain a first mixed solution, dispersing uniformly the metal salt in the obtained first mixed solution, adding precipitating agent, mixing uniformly, adding reducing agent, mixing uniformly, and reacting at 70-90degrees Celsius for 2-4 hours to obtain the composite material, where the metal salt includes copper salt and precious metal salt. USE - Method for preparing composite material that is used for producing catalytic hydrogen (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and cost-effective, and the prepared composite material has high in catalysis efficiency, and guaranteed material catalytic performance.
