NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene involves mixing dry ice as a carbon source, and reducing agent in mass ratio of 2:1-4:1, pressing the mixture with 1-3 mm-thickness copper lining of stainless steel sample box, forming primary blank having concentration of 60-70%, subjecting the blank to impact-induced chemical reaction using explosive, and washing. The reducing agent is chosen from calcium hydride, sodium borohydride and lithium aluminum hydride. USE - Manufacture of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene is manufactured efficiently and economically with reduced energy consumption. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for system for manufacturing graphene.
