NOVELTY - Preparation of alcohol-bridged reinforced porous hydroxy ferric oxide-graphene nanocomposite hydrogel comprises mixing graphene oxide, iron salt and solvent to prepare mixed solution, heating to form into gel and obtaining the product. USE - Preparation of alcohol-bridged reinforced porous hydroxy ferric oxide-graphene nanocomposite hydrogel used for preparing product useful for adsorbing pollutant, degrading pollutant, easy separation and recycling, and/or environmental pollution treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, avoids the use of toxic reagents, and provides gel, which has high specific surface area and contamination removal performance and is easy for solid-liquid separation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for alcohol-bridged reinforced porous hydroxy ferric oxide-graphene nanocomposite hydrogel.
