NOVELTY - Preparing biomass pine derived carbon pine-derived carbon/tin sulfide loaded reduced graphene oxide (PDC/SnS2@rGO) material comprises (i) mixing tin(IV) chloride pentahydrate, thiourea and deionized water to obtain a precursor solution, adding the biomass pine-derived carbon into the precursor solution for solvothermal reaction, obtaining reaction product, washing the reaction product, and drying to obtain PDC/SnS composite material, and (ii) adding the pine-derived carbon/tin sulfide composite material into graphene oxide dispersion, stirring evenly, and adding ascorbic acid for self-assembly reaction to obtain pine-derived carbon/tin sulfide loaded reduced graphene oxide. USE - The biomass pine derived carbon pine-derived carbon/tin sulfide loaded reduced graphene oxide material is used as the cathode material of the sodium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses rGO and microporous carbon channels as double-layer electron transport channels, accelerates rapid transport of electrons in tin sulfide particles, and improves Coulombic efficiency of SIBs.
