NOVELTY - A ball bearing assembly comprises an outer ring comprising polymer composite material, and having an outer raceway, an inner ring comprising polymer composite material and having an inner raceway spaced from the outer ring, several rolling elements comprising glass and interposed between the outer and inner ring, and a cage comprising a polymer compound for retaining several rolling elements. USE - Ball bearing assembly used as power and motion transmission elements in machine tools and automobiles. ADVANTAGE - The ball bearing assembly has excellent strength and abrasion resistance by using the additives such as graphene and bronze. The self-lubricating polymer material has high load carrying capacity, less wear rate and less coefficient of friction.
