NOVELTY - Aerogel-based energy absorbing material comprises porous gas gel material as a substrate, including a three-dimensional porous network structure connected with each other by nano fiber, a energy absorbing substance loaded in the porous gas material and functional additives selectively added or not added, where the energy absorbing substance and the functional additive are covered on the nano fiber and embedded in three-dimensional porous network structure; and the energy absorbing substance includes polydimethylsiloxane, poly-boron siloxane, soft and hard phase change material, plasticine, natural rubber, chloroprene rubber and/or nitrile rubber. USE - The aerogel-based energy absorbing material is used in the field of shock absorption and noise resistance, impact protection or energy absorption (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The absorbing material has designability structure, has simple operation and is easy to realize large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a preparation method of aerogel-based energy absorbing material, comprising providing porous gas gel material, filling energy-absorbing substances, selectively adding or not adding functional additives into the porous gas gel material by means of in-situ polymerization or solution-assisted filling and drying.
