NOVELTY - Preparation of selective catalytic reduction catalyst involves using graphene oxide containing high amount of oxygen-containing groups as precursor, supporting a metal oxide on graphene through a hydrothermal method, and calcining. The metal oxide is cerium oxide (i), and manganese oxide (ii), in molar ratio of 0.4-1.6. The amount of manganese oxide (ii) is 10-30 %mass based on amount of graphene. USE - Preparation of selective catalytic reduction catalyst (claimed) used in denitrification of flue gas. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of selective catalytic reduction catalyst having excellent low-temperature flue gas denitrification activity at 120-200 degrees C. The catalyst has excellent sulfur dioxide resistance and water resistance at 200 degrees C. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of selective catalytic reduction catalyst involves using graphene oxide containing high amount of oxygen-containing groups as precursor, supporting a metal oxide on graphene through a hydrothermal method, and calcining. The metal oxide is cerium oxide of formula: CeOx (i), and manganese oxide of formula: MnOx (ii), in molar ratio of 0.4-1.6. The amount of manganese oxide (ii) is 10-30 %mass based on amount of graphene. x=not defined. N.B: x is not defined.
