NOVELTY - The preparation of tough heat-insulating flame-retardant material, involves mixing 10-50 pts. wt. styrene butadiene rubber, 20-60 pts. wt. PVC, 5-20 pts. wt. graphene, 6-12 pts. wt. calcium carbonate powder, 5-10 pts. wt. zirconia powder, 2-10 pts. wt. stearic acid, 2-10 pts. wt. dibutyl phthalate, (1) dispersing graphene in 2-5 %mass hydrochloric acid solution to obtain a dispersion where the mass of the hydrochloric acid solution is 10-20 times the mass of graphene, (2) mixing styrene butadiene rubber, polyvinyl chloride, stearic acid and dibutyl phthalate with the dispersion of step (1) to obtain a mixed system, (3) adding zirconia powder and calcium carbonate powder to the mixed system described in step (2), and stirring and reacting at 100-120 degrees C for 5-10 hours, and (4) drying, removing surface impurities. USE - Preparation of tough heat-insulating flame-retardant material. ADVANTAGE - The method effectively improves the dispersibility of graphene, and greatly improve the toughness of the material so that the material has heat resistance, flame retardance and high toughness.
