USE - The separation membrane is used for separating substances from mixed liquids and gases for dehydration. ADVANTAGE - The separation membrane has high permeability and selectivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for manufacturing the separation member, involving preparing a coating sol containing a nanomaterial and an organosilica having a silsesquioxane structure, a coating the coating sol on a porous support, forming a film from the coating sol applied in the coating step by vacuum filtration or pressure filtration, and heat-treating the coating sol formed in the film-forming step to form a separation layer.
