NOVELTY - Preparing δ-caprolactone involves using gluconolactone as a substrate, using modified DODH as a catalyst, reacting in a reactor, within a certain temperature range, for 4- 48 hours, hydrogen pressure of 1-12 megapascals, and stirring rate is 500-1500 revolutions per minute (rpm) to obtain δ-caprolactone. USE - Method for preparing δ-caprolactone. ADVANTAGE - The cost of the working system for producing delta caprolactone is greatly reduced, catalyst has high cycle stability, and has good industrial application prospect.
