NOVELTY - Manufacturing graphene oxide sponge by freeze-drying, comprises (a) oxidizing graphite and purifying to obtain graphene oxide slurry, and (b) freezing and drying the slurry. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene oxide sponge by freeze-drying (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide sponge is free of denaturation and has highly improved dispersibility, where high-quality graphene can be produced by thermal reduction of the graphene oxide sponge, and the graphene oxide sponge can be used as industrially important liquid raw material including sol, ink, colloid, paste and slurry, and the high-quality graphene can be used as thin film material, coated material, film material, composite, solar cell, transparent conductive film, sensor and electromagnetic interference shielding material.
