▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Providing hydroxylation of graphene, comprises: depositing, predefined quantity of the graphene on a metal foil of predefined thickness; performing, poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) spin coating of the graphene to obtain coated graphene; performing, etching of the metal foil with a preselected etchant; transferring, the coated graphene over a preselected substrate; removing, the PMMA spin coating from the coated graphene transferred over the preselected substrate to obtain a deposited graphene over the preselected substrate; and treating, the deposited graphene with a preselected chemical compound in a preselected quantity, in presence of ultra violet light, for obtaining a hydroxyl functionalized graphene. USE - The method is useful for providing hydroxylzing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method: provides improved hydroxylation of chemical vapor deposition graphene by hydroxyl functionalization; provides improved hydroxylation of exfoliated graphene; and provides predefined quantity of graphene is deposited on metal foil of predefined thickness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for providing hydroxylation of graphene, comprising performing, mechanical exfoliation of graphene flakes over a preselected substrate and treating, the graphene flakes deposited over the preselected substrate, with chemical compound in a preselected quantity, for obtaining a hydroxyl functionalized graphene, where the treatment is performed for a predefined time period in presence of UV light.
