NOVELTY - Preparing lithium ion battery cathode material lithium iron phosphate/reduced graphene oxide, comprises (a) adding iron and phosphoric acid sources according to a molar ratio of 0.5:1-2:1 to the deionized water, adjusting the pH to 0.5-3, adding 0.05-5% graphene oxide into the solution, stirring uniformly, and adding to a hydrothermal kettle; (b) hydrolyzing the solution, centrifuging, cooling and washing; and (c) mixing iron phosphate/graphene oxide with lithium source according to a stoichiometric ratio, heat-treated under reduced atmosphere, and cooling. USE - The method is useful for preparing lithium ion battery cathode material lithium iron phosphate/reduced graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the electronic conductivity of lithium iron phosphate with lithium ion transmission rate and cycle performance and rate performance.
