NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-reinforced magnesium-based composite material involves adding 100 g spherical magnesium alloy powder to ethanol solution, mechanically stirring, dripping uniformly dispersed graphene ethanol suspension to magnesium alloy slurry, obtaining graphene nanosheet/magnesium alloy mixed slurry, continuously stirring obtained slurry into paste in water bath at 30 degrees C, filtering, vacuum-drying, obtaining graphene nanosheet/magnesium alloy mixed powder, adding graphene nanosheet/magnesium alloy mixed powder to self-made mold, pre-pressing, vacuumizing, maintaining at 120 degrees C for 20 minutes, pressing into column blank under pressure of 315 MPa, obtaining initial ingot, protecting under argon atmosphere, heating at semi-solid temperature of magnesium alloy for 60 minutes, obtaining semi-solid ingot of composite material, transferring to preheated steel mold and carrying out thixoforming process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The uniformly dispersed graphene ethanol suspension is obtained by adding 0.1-1 g graphene nanosheets to ethanol solution, and ultrasonically processing.
