NOVELTY - Graphite/cellulose composite aerogel comprises graphene poly-dopamine modification non-covalently bonded to the crosslinked cellulose poly-dopamine. USE - Graphite/cellulose composite aerogel for purifying industrial water. ADVANTAGE - The graphite/cellulose composite aerogel has good structure, compressibility, and support strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for manufacturing graphite/cellulose composite aerogel, which involves (A) providing a graphene and polydopamine solution, dissolving the graphite in the poly-dopamine solution to form a graphene/polydopamine gel, adding the graphite/poly-dopamine in the gel cellulose aqueous solution and crosslinking agent to form a reaction solution, freezing; and (B) drying the reaction solution to form the finished product.
