NOVELTY - Glass pigment comprises 20-32 pts. wt. aluminum oxide, 15-22 pts. wt. kaolin, 16-20 pts. wt. talc, 8-13 pts. wt. molybdenum trioxide, 6-12 pts. wt. chromium oxide, 5-14 pts. wt. calcium carbonate, and 1-6 pts. wt. cross-linking agent as inorganic powder raw material, where the inorganic powder raw material undergoes gelation reaction first, where the gel raw material including 2-2.5 pts. wt. acrylamide organic monomer, 0.1-0.12 pts. wt. N,N'-methylene bisacryl crosslinking agent, 0.5-1.0 pts. wt. Rohm and Haas OROTAN 1124 (RTM: Dispersant is supplied at high solids (50%) in the ammonia neutralized form and was designed to maximize gloss potential where needed) dispersant, 0.2-0.4 pts. wt. ammonium persulfate initiator, 0.05-0.1 pts. wt. tetramethyl ethylenediamine, 10-15 ml 28% ammonia aqueous solution, and 40-50 pts. wt. deionized water, and cross-linking agent is prepared by (i) sending cyclodextrin into fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate solution. USE - The pigment is useful for HTCC package shell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: significantly reduces the viscosity of pulping and the difficulty of pulping; and facilitates large-scale production. The pigment: has a deeper porcelain color; and significantly improves the density and bending strength of the porcelain. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the glass pigment, comprising (i) preparing and ball-mill inorganic powder gel slurry to make the particle size of inorganic powder particles reach D50=3-5 mu m, (ii) initiating a gel reaction to make the inorganic powder form a gel block, and calcining the block in a weak oxygen atmosphere to synthesize a complex phase spinel, and (iii) performing jaw crushing, wet sanding, drying and sieving on the sintered complex phase spinel to obtain a glass color material with a particle size of 0.5-0.8 mu m; and (2) using the glass pigment, comprising using 65-68% aluminum oxide, 8-10% glass pigment and 20-25% casting auxiliary agent, pulping, casting, punching, printing, laminating, cutting, sintering, brazing, and electroplating to make black alumina high temperature co-flamed ceramic (HTCC) integrated circuit ceramic package shell, crystal oscillator, microelectromechanical systems sensor package substrate, image sensor package shell, and black alumina substrate, where the co-flaming temperature is 1540-1580 degrees C.
