NOVELTY - Manufacturing a graphene monolayer on insulating substrates from chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene synthesis, comprises: applying a thermal release adhesive tape to the bottom graphene layer deposited at the bottom of the metal foil in the CVD graphene synthesis, by at least a roller from one edge of the thermal release adhesive tape to the opposite edge; detaching the thermal release adhesive tape and the bottom graphene layer higher than the release temperature of the thermal release adhesive tape; and transferring top graphene layer onto a substrate via sacrificial protective layer. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing a graphene monolayer on insulating substrates from Chemical Vapor Deposition graphene synthesis (claimed), where the graphene monolayer is useful in: electronics (high frequency devices and transistors); energy (solar cells, batteries and supercapacitors); touch screen and display technology (television screens and mobile phones); and sensors. ADVANTAGE - The method is capable of easily and economically manufacturing the graphene monolayer with high quality, electronic mobility and thermal conductivity and improved thermal strength, flexibility, transparency and homogeneity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacturing a graphene monolayer on insulating substrates from chemical vapor deposition (CVD) graphene synthesis, where a metal foil catalyst with a top graphene layer and a bottom graphene layer is obtained, comprises: applying a thermal release adhesive tape to the bottom graphene layer deposited at the bottom of the metal foil in the (CVD) graphene synthesis, by at least a roller from one edge of the thermal release adhesive tape to the opposite edge, so that it allows the sticking of the thermal release adhesive tape onto the graphene bottom layer; detaching the thermal release adhesive tape and the bottom graphene layer from the metal foil via the application of heat of 1 degrees C up to 5 degrees C higher than the release temperature of the thermal release adhesive tape so that the thermal release adhesive tape with the bottom graphene layer is removed, obtaining a metal foil with a top graphene layer sample; and transferring the top graphene layer onto a substrate via a sacrificial protective layer.
