NOVELTY - Carrier, comprises silver-porous carbon composite material (silver-KJ600) with a ship-in-a-bottle structure formed by embedding metallic silver in the porous carbon composite material KJ600. USE - The carrier is useful in the zinc-iodine battery anode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carrier inhibits the shuttle effect of polyiodide, thus reducing the corrosion of cathode zinc and the loss of active materials. The silver-KJ600/iodine active material has excellent electrochemical performance.
