NOVELTY - Use of copper/graphene catalyst in water treatment of nitro-aromatic compounds, is claimed. USE - The copper/graphene catalyst is used in water treatment of nitro-aromatic compounds (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst realizes the controlled generation of copper nanoparticles and is stably dispersed on the surface of graphene to generate excellent catalytic performance, has degradation rate of 95% for nitroaromatics and selectivity of 98% for aromatic amines, where after four cycles of use, the degradation rate of nitroaromatics remains above 93% which shows excellent catalytic activity and stability, and is an efficient and environmentally-friendly recyclable catalyst.
