NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide comprises either: mixing graphite, benzoyl peroxide, peroxyacetic acid/hydrogen peroxide in a vibration ball mill and milling, and fully reacting to obtain graphene oxide; or mixing graphite and benzoyl peroxide and subjecting to vibration ball milling, and reacting completely to obtain graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, economical, quick, and efficient; is safe, and environmentally friendly.
