NOVELTY - Composite coating comprises mussel protein and graphene as active components in a mass ratio of (0.1-1):(0.05-0.3). USE - The composite coating is useful in anti-corrosion, lubrication and wear resistance of metal materials. ADVANTAGE - The coating: does not need to add other resin film-forming substances and organic solvents; has excellent corrosion resistance, lubricating properties, wear failure properties and substrate adhesion properties; and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for surface treatment of metal materials by using the composite coating, comprising (i) using the composite coating to soak metal materials, and (ii) cleaning, drying and aging the metal material after the soaking treatment, so as to form a composite coating on the surface of the metal material.
