NOVELTY - Preparing cathode material comprises ball milling boron-coated silicon powder and nano-silica powder at high-energy ball mill to obtain a silicon-boron coated silicon material, mixing the silicon-based silicon material with graphene slurry to obtain mixed slurry, and mixing the mixture with artificial graphite to obtain the mixture, and freezing and drying the mixture to obtain final product. USE - The method for preparing cathode material is useful in a lithium ion battery (claimed), that is used in an automobile, large power, long endurance mileage, and safety. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare cathode material, which improves the multiplying power and cycle performance of the lithium ion battery, and prevents the contact and electrolyte, reduces the occurrence of side reaction to improve the first effect of the silicon-based material, at the same time, and has high energy ball milling method for boron powder coating nano silicon powder, and the structure is stable, so as to inhibit the volume expansion of silicon.
