▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Coating comprises silicon-doped graphene layers. The graphene is in the form of horizontally-aligned graphene nanosheets. USE - The coating is useful: for reducing corrosion, preferably oxidative corrosion, at the surface of a metal (all claimed); and in microelectronic components (e.g. interconnects, aircraft components and implantable devices). ADVANTAGE - The metal free coating exhibits good transparency, optical properties, mechanical strength, magnetic recording density, corrosion resistance, gas barrier and self-healing properties, bio and hemo compatibility, and physical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a coated metal, where at least a portion of the metal surface comprises a silicon-doped graphene coating; and (2) producing the silicon-doped graphene coating comprising chemical vapor deposition.
