NOVELTY - A lithium ion battery cathode material preparation method involves utilizing lithium-manganese-iron-phosphate-graphene as raw materials, and mixing the materials. The graphene oxide is added with compound containing manganese source, lithium source and iron source. The mixture is grinded and dried to obtain precursor powder. The precursor powder is heated at 500-800 degrees C for 2-6 hours, and cooled at room temperature to obtain a positive electrode material, where the graphene content is 0.5-6%. USE - Method for preparing cathode material of lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing cathode material of lithium ion battery with short processing time, low energy consumption, simple operation, better product conductivity and high specific capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A lithium ion battery cathode material preparation method involves utilizing lithium-manganese-iron-phosphate-graphene (LiMnFe(1-x) PO4/ GN) as raw materials and mixing the materials. The graphene oxide is added with compound containing manganese source, lithium source and iron source. The mixture is grinded, and dried to obtain precursor powder. The precursor powder is heated at 500-800 degrees C for 2-6 hours and cooled at room temperature to obtain a positive electrode material, where the graphene content is 0.5-6%, GN is graphene, and value of x is 0-1.0.
