NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene involves (i) mixing a carbon source in the form of particles cut or pulverized to a size of 0.01 mm to 1 cm, comprising waste plastic, waste synthetic resin, waste packaging material, waste wood, waste clothing, waste medical waste, waste paint and/or waste tire and a conductor to obtain a mixture (m1), (ii) heating the mixture (m1) at a set current value of 0.01-0.3 A under time conditions through direct resistance heating method to obtain a carbon inorganic material, and (iii) heating the carbon inorganic material at a set current value of 0.06-18 A under time conditions through direct resistance heating method. USE - Manufacture of graphene used in polymer resin or solvent dispersion. ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of graphene using economical landfill or incinerated carbon raw material source. Since the manufacture of graphene uses the principle of resistance heating with low electrical energy cost, it is possible to provide high-quality, high-purity graphene at low cost. The graphene has wide interlayer spacing to reduce the energy required for polymer resin or solvent dispersion.
