▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Synthesizing furoic acid by electrochemical conversion of furfural cathode comprises e.g. (i) mixing the carbon material and the binder at ratio of (1-7):(3-1), dispersing ultrasonically in ethanol solution, stirring and heating to paste at 60-90℃, rolling to form a sheet and vacuum drying at 45-60℃ for 12-24 hours to obtain the electrode catalytic layer; (ii) combining above-mentioned electrode catalytic layer and the current collector treated with the binder by rolling, calcining in an inert gas atmosphere for 0.1-2 hours at 250-370℃ and cooling naturally to obtain the gas diffusion electrode; (iii) carrying out electrolysis using a diaphragm-type electrochemical reactor, and the diaphragm is a cation exchange membrane; and (iv) taking the electrolyte is 0.01-1 mol/liter electrolyte solution, and adding 0.01-1 mol/liter furfural into the catholyte. USE - The method is useful for synthesizing furoic acid by electrochemical conversion of furfural cathode is useful for food preservative, plastic plasticizer and medicine. ADVANTAGE - The method: uses green and environmentally-friendly oxygen; avoids the use of noble metal homogeneous catalyst and subsequent separation step; realizes the green synthesis process; does not use toxic and harmful reagent; easily available raw material; is simple to operate and economical; and produces economical and environmentally-friendly furoic acid with improved purity and yield.
