NOVELTY - Silicon-based cathode material comprises core-shell structure, the core is nano-silicon particles, and the shell is divided into two layers, the first and second shell layer is graphene-like layer, the second shell layer is organic carbon and the graphene-like layer is formed by tannic acid carbonization. USE - Used as silicon-based cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The silicon-based cathode material can relieve the volume expansion effect of the nano-silicon particles in the charging and discharging process and improves the comprehensive performance of the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing silicon-based cathode material comprising (1) dispersing the nano-silicon particles in the tannic acid aqueous solution, forming mixed solution, spraying and drying the mixed solution to obtain the composite particles, (2) performing carbonization treatment to the composite particles to obtain graphene-silicon composite particles, (3) dispersing the graphene silicon composite particles in the aqueous solution of the dispersing agent, spraying and drying to obtain the silicon-based cathode material precursor; dispersant water-soluble high molecular compound and (4) performing carbonization treatment to the silicon-based cathode material precursor, the aqueous-soluble polymer compound is organic carbon; obtaining the silicon-based cathode material.
