NOVELTY - Composite aerogel dressing comprises 4-10 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol, 5-50 wt.% water-soluble chitosan, 0.1-3 wt.% graphene oxide and deionized water (remaining amount). USE - The composite aerogel dressing is useful for stanching, and promoting wound healing, and in medical dressing e.g. medical cotton ball, gauze or bandage. ADVANTAGE - The dressing: has antibacterial function, and low cost; is environmentally-friendly; and has simple preparation technique, no special requirement and excellent biological compatibility for device, great potential in medical wound dressing, excellent elastic flexibility, and excellent mechanical property.
