NOVELTY - Ternary system start-stop lithium ion battery comprises an insulating coating coated on a tab side of an anode pole piece. The insulating coat includes an inorganic powder and a binder in a mass ratio of 7:1-9:1. The inorganic fertilizer is aluminum oxide-aluminum oxide. The binder is polyvinylidene fluoride. The width of the insulating layer of the positive pole piece coating is 5-7 mm. An electrolyte is provided with a solvent, a lithium salt and an additive. The additive includes lithium bisfluorophosphate and 1,3-propane sultone in a ratio of 1:1.5-1.5:1. USE - The ternary system start-stop lithium ion battery is useful in energy automobile. ADVANTAGE - The ternary system start-stop lithium ion battery: has high and low temperature performance; improves electric core cycle performance and large current charging and discharging performance; and enhances safety performance of the electric core.
