NOVELTY - The device (1) has a model module (3) comprising a model of a monitoring region, where the model is designed as a graphene model (4). The monitoring region and edges comprise connection parts between spaces. Escape routes (13c) are provided between an initial node and an end node, and a criticality level is assigned to connected nodes (9d). The graphene model selects plans based on the criticality levels of the connected nodes. A state simulation module (18) models states in the spaces based on sensor signals. USE - Evacuation device for use as a digital data processing device (claimed), to plan escape routes in a building. ADVANTAGE - The graphene model selects plans based on criticality levels of connected node, thus planning escape routes in a building in simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for planning an escape route with an evacuation device (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for planning an escape route with an evacuation device.
