NOVELTY - Preparing polypyrrole/phytic acid/graphene oxide composite anti-corrosion coating comprises (i) preparing graphene oxide by the improved Hummers method, and uniformly dispersing in deionized water to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion, (ii) dispersing the pyrrole monomer and phytic acid in deionized water, adding graphene oxide dispersion, stirring until uniform, and preparing mixed electrolyte, and (iii) using the three-electrode method, using the mixed electrolyte as the supporting solution, and electrodepositing the composite coating. USE - The coating is useful for corrosion protection of stainless steel in acid environment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating: solves the problems of micropores, poor adhesion, and lack of good stability in the existing conductive polymer anticorrosion coatings; and has good application prospects in stainless steel materials used in oil and gas wells, acid soils and metal bipolar plates of fuel cells. The method: is simple; and realizes the direct and rapid large-area deposition of coating material on the surface of stainless steel.
