NOVELTY - Synthesis of graphene comprises adding iron ion (Fe3+)-loaded montmorillonite catalyst and benzene into crucible, putting in high pressure reaction kettle, controlling the temperature at 150-350 degrees C for 4-5 hours, washing the product with hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid mixed solution under ultrasonic condition to remove montmorillonite framework, and freeze drying to obtain graphene black powder. USE - Synthesis of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method does not need carrier gas during the reaction and has low reaction temperature and low reaction cost.
