NOVELTY - Producing coating with antimicrobial properties comprises applying of thin layer of graphene to polypropylene film (2) by evenly distributing graphite powder (3) on surface of polypropylene film and mechanically rubbing graphite powder on surface of polypropylene film to form thin layer of graphene, washing with water of polypropylene film with formed thin layer of graphene, oxidation of formed thin layer of graphene to thin layer of graphene oxide and washing with distilled water and drying of polypropylene film with thin layer of graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for producing coating with antimicrobial properties, where the coating can be used in food industry, agriculture, domestic appliances and medicine. ADVANTAGE - The method provides coating in a simple manner and do not require sophisticated equipment, special processes and materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for device for production of coating with antimicrobial properties by coating a polypropylene film with a thin layer of graphene, comprising a cover (1) for the close pressing of the polypropylene film to a smooth base, where the cover is provided with a hole for the adding of graphite powder on a surface of the polypropylene film and with a brush (4) inserted into the cover with the capability to move and rotate for the even covering and mechanical rubbing the graphite powder on the surface of the polypropylene film to form the thin layer of graphene, where the brush is connected to a driver (6) via a flexible connection.
