NOVELTY - Preparing high-orientation graphite block body comprises (i) taking graphene oxide and additives according to the ratio, adding it into deionized water, stirring until forming uniform slurry, where the mass fraction of each component in the slurry comprises 1-5 wt.% graphene oxide, 0-0.4 wt.% additives and deionized water, subjecting slurry to a defoaming treatment, coating slurry to thickness of 2-20 mm and drying to obtain a graphene oxide film having a thickness of 40-600 mu m; and (ii) cutting dried graphene oxide film to a certain size, stacking to a certain thickness, placing cut and stacked graphene oxide film in a mold of a hot press furnace, boosting program up to 50-400 kg/cm2 at the same time heating to 2800-3000 degrees C, cooling to room temperature after heating at the highest temperature for 30-180 minutes to obtain a graphite block, where the thermal conductivity of this graphite block reaches to 1200-2000 W/(m K). USE - The method is useful for preparing high-orientation graphite block body. ADVANTAGE - The method: forms graphene oxide with high chemical activity and highly oriented sheet structure; is simple, economical and environmentally-friendly; has short cycle; utilizes graphene oxide film to form a graphite block material through high-temperature hot pressing without using any auxiliary agent; and produces block body with excellent heat transfer performance and thermal conductivity to 1200-2000 W/m.K.
