NOVELTY - Aerosol provision device comprises: a receptacle configured to receive aerosol generating material, where the aerosol generating material is heatable by a susceptor (132); an inductor coil (124) configured to generate a varying magnetic field for heating the susceptor; and an electromagnetic shield member (202) at least partially covering the inductor coil, where the electromagnetic shield member comprises a polymeric composition which is configured to absorb and/or reflect electromagnetic radiation. The polymeric composition comprises a polymer and filler which is capable of absorbing and/or reflecting electromagnetic radiation. The polymer is an elastomer or a thermoplastic polymer. USE - The device is useful in an aerosol provision system (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device utilizes: the polymeric composition, which has (i) a shielding effectiveness of at least 20 dB, preferably 40-70 dB when measured at 30 MHz, (ii) a surface resistance of ≤ 105Ohm, preferably 0.01-10 Ohm, and (iii) a thickness of 0.1-2 mm, preferably 0.15-1.5 mm; the filler which has a surface resistance of ≤ 10-4; and the polymeric composition which is configured to absorb and/or reflect electromagnetic radiation as an electromagnetic shield member (claimed). The composition can be molded, thus making construction of the overall device easier and allowing for the manufacture of more complex shapes than can be formed with the previously-used ferrite tape.
