NOVELTY - Preparing graphene sandwich gold nanoparticle nanosheet comprises (a) forming a graphene oxide film on the substrate, (b) modifying the surface of the graphene oxide film with a modifier to obtain a positively charged graphene oxide film, (c) placing composite gold particles on the modified graphene oxide film to obtain a gold particle-graphene oxide composite film, (d) further compounding another graphene oxide film on the gold particle-graphene oxide composite film to obtain a encapsulated graphene oxide sandwich gold particle composite film, (e) reducing the graphene oxide sandwich gold particle composite film by using a reducing agent to obtain a reduced graphene oxide sandwich gold particle composite film, (f) removing the reduced graphene oxide sandwich gold particle composite film from the glass substrate and pulverizing to obtain a graphene sandwich nano gold particle nanosheet. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene sandwich gold nanoparticle nanosheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing graphene sandwich nano gold particle nanosheet comprising reducing the graphene oxide film layer, compositing gold particles on the reduced graphene oxide film, another reduced graphene oxide film layer composited on the gold particles; and (2) solar water evaporator comprising light absorbing layer comprised of graphene sandwich nano gold particle nanosheet.
