NOVELTY - Absorbing material comprises core-shell structure of silver/iron (II, III oxide) nano-composites in which silver forms the nucleus and iron (II, III oxide) forms the shell and is prepared by reduction of graphene oxide. USE - Absorbing material. ADVANTAGE - The absorbing material is prepared in a simple, cost effective, time saving and efficient manner. It has excellent absorbing properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing absorbing material which involves: (A) mixing graphene oxide, ferric nitrate nonahydrate and silver nitrate by ultrasonic dispersion in ethylene glycol; (B) adding anhydrous sodium acetate with stirring to dissolve completely to obtain a mixture; and (C) heating the mixture solvothermally to obtain silver/iron (II, III oxide) nanocomposites absorbing material.
