▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - The mask has an air flow path extending between inhalation and exhalation valve ports. An exhaled breath sensor is provided along the path to measure an indicator for hypoxia, where the indicator is selected from a group consisting of pentanal, 2-pentanone and 4-butyrolactone. The sensor has a sensing material configured to have an affinity to one of the indicators. The sensing material is formed by a molecular imprint polymerization process. A transducer has graphene or single-wall carbon nanotubes. A processor is coupled to the mask to determine an amount of the indicator. USE - Flight mask useful for detecting hypoxia in a pilot flying at high-altitude by monitoring the exhaled breath of the pilot. ADVANTAGE - The method enables early detection of hypoxia in a pilot flying at high altitude by monitoring the exhaled breath of the pilot.
