NOVELTY - Preparing modified perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane by steel tape casting comprises dispersing two-dimensional layered functionalized graphene nano-sheet powder in the mixed solution of tetrabutyl ammonium hydroxide and dopamine hydrochloride, and cooling to room temperature under continuous stirring. Sodium hydroxide solution is added to adjust the pH of the solution to 6.8-7.2. The formed mixture is centrifuged and separated, washed the solid, freeze-dried to obtain the two-dimensional layered functionalized graphene nanosheet of tetrabutyltammonium and dopamine intercalated layer. USE - Method for preparing modified perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane for fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing the modified perfluorosulfonic acid proton exchange membrane in a simple and efficient manner.
