NOVELTY - Preparation of mesoporous carbon/graphene oxide composite comprises mixing raw materials, weighing asphalt and additive, adding solvent, purging, mixing, distilling off solvent, drying, placing in atmosphere furnace, heating, incubating, cooling to room temperature, heating, weighing 0.2-1.5 g mesoporous carbon and 0.1-3 g sodium nitrate, adding 40 mL concentrated sulfuric acid, placing in ice bath, weighing 1-6 g potassium permanganate, placing in ice bath, reacting, adding water, cooling, adding hydrogen peroxide, mixing, filtering, washing and drying. USE - Method of preparing mesoporous carbon/graphene oxide composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has high specific surface area, good adsorption performance on dyes and heavy metals, high recyclability, low prices and simple operation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of mesoporous carbon/graphene oxide composite comprises mixing raw materials, weighing asphalt and additive at 1:10-10:1, adding 1-10 times solvent, purging with nitrogen, mixing, distilling off solvent, drying, placing in atmosphere furnace, heating, incubating, cooling to room temperature, heating at 800-1600 degrees C for 0.1-5 hours, weighing 0.2-1.5 g mesoporous carbon and 0.1-3 g sodium nitrate, adding 40 mL concentrated sulfuric acid, placing in ice bath, weighing 1-6 g potassium permanganate, placing in ice bath for 1.5 hours, reacting at 35 degrees C for 0.5-3 hours, adding 200 mL water, cooling, adding hydrogen peroxide, mixing, filtering, washing and drying.
