NOVELTY - Method for preparing a plant fiber cloth grafted with graphene oxide-silica on the surface, involves (a) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in a mixture of absolute ethanol/deionized water to obtain a suspension, (b) using aqueous ammonia to adjust the pH value of the suspension obtained in step (a), (c) ultrasonically dispersing the graphene oxide-silica colloid cleaned in deionized water to obtain a graphene oxide-silica suspension solution, (d) immersing the plant fiber cloth in distilled water for ultrasonic cleaning, (e) arranging the cleaned plant fibers in a sodium hydroxide solution for ultrasonic treatment, (f) using step (d) and (e) operation until the pH value of the surface of the plant fiber cloth is 6.5-7, (g) arranging the alkali-treated plant fibers in the graphene oxide-silica suspension solution for ultrasonic treatment, and (h) taking-out the cloth treated plant fiber to obtain a plant fiber cloth grafted with graphene oxide-silica on the surface. USE - The method is used for preparing a plant fiber cloth grafted with graphene oxide-silica on the surface. ADVANTAGE - The method produces treated plant fiber with improved interface bonding performance with the resin matrix, improves the mechanical properties of plant fiber reinforced epoxy resin matrix composites, and reduces the dispersion of mechanical properties, and provides three-point bending strength of 126-150 MPa. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for preparing a plant fiber cloth grafted with graphene oxide-silica on the surface, involves (a) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in a mixture of absolute ethanol/deionized water to obtain a suspension, (b) using aqueous ammonia to adjust the pH value of the suspension obtained in step (a), adding ethyl orthosilicate, sequentially undergoing ultrasonic treatment and magnetic stirring treatment, centrifuging to obtain graphene oxide-silica colloid, cleaning the resulting oxidation with graphene-silica colloid with absolute ethanol, (c) ultrasonically dispersing the graphene oxide-silica colloid cleaned in step (b) in deionized water to obtain a graphene oxide-silica suspension solution, (d) immersing the plant fiber cloth in distilled water for ultrasonic cleaning, (e) arranging the cleaned plant fibers in step (d) in a sodium hydroxide solution for ultrasonic treatment, (f) using step (d) and (e) operation until the pH value of the surface of the plant fiber cloth is 6.5-7 to obtain the alkali treatment Of plant fiber cloth, (g) arranging the alkali-treated plant fibers obtained in step (b) in the graphene oxide-silica suspension solution obtained in step (a) for ultrasonic treatment, and (h) taking-out the plant fiber cloth treated, washing in distilled water, taking-out the plant fiber cloth after washing and drying, to obtain a plant fiber cloth grafted with graphene oxide-silica on the surface.
